Happy Birthday MAJ! :)

Today is a day when the leader and founder of Pakistan Quiad-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born. Stanley wolpert has summarized in beautiful words what MAJ was ...

"Few individuals significantly alter the course of History. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation state. Muhammad Ali Jinnah did all three. "

Sorrrrryyyyy!! ..

Probably the most important reason for me, not coming online was that the situation in the country was devastating. There was a stream of bomb blasts in the country, especially in the capital where the Islamic university was targeted in a suicidal attack and there were rumors that the terrorists have threatened to kidnap the young students and to attack the institutions. As a precautionary step most universities of the country were closed. A few were open, one of which was the Islamic university, but sadly they had to pay the price.

Moreover our hostel was closed as well so I went to my cousin's place in Rawalpindi where there was no Internet facility, no water, no food and etc, but still enjoyed alot. It was a period of 10 days when we were almost cut off from the world. We were not able to go back home because of our University which was announcing holidays two at a time unlike other universities which were closed instantly for a week.

Back but Buzy!

More than a month has passed since I had last opened my blog. So much has been happening over the past month that it was close to impossible to post anything or even use the computer!

Motivation

I think atlast I have found some motivation to post regularly on the blog. I have found this beautiful font there which makes me to write more and more, so i think i will be able to do that in hostel more regularly... I think it's enough for now as I'm in the university right now :)

Today in History!

1990
The cricket world received its first introduction to the deadliest old-ball partnership of them all. Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram shared 10 wickets in a Test for the first time, taking 15 in all as Pakistan thrashed New Zealand by an innings and 43 runs in Karachi - and 11 of the 15 were out lbw or bowled. It started a run in which Wasim and Waqar took 10 or more wickets between them in 18 of the 24 Tests that they played in together between 1990 and 1994.

1999
A tie in the day-nighter between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Sharjah, but only after a remarkable collapse from the Lankans. When Romesh Kaluwitharana and Russel Arnold took them to 157 for 1, they needed only 40 off 15 overs, but that was when Abdul Razzaq started swinging the ball. He had Kaluwitharana caught behind and then returned at the death to take 4 for 0 in 8 balls - the last three were all bowled. Sri Lanka lost their last eight wickets for 23 runs in nine sorry overs.

Poem in Smash! :)

Yesterday I went for a walk in the park, it had been a normal routine day with all the more boring lectures to attend and the tensed hostel life. I was feeling relax after the walk and went to the book shop to take the Smash magazine. I didn't went through the magazine at that time as I was a little tired so came back to the hostel immediately. I had been out of touch with my dearest dearest for some days now, although we talked in the day but I didn't know what happened and I started missing her alot ... so much that " Aansu he nikal aay" :( ....

I  messaged her and started reading the magazine. As I was going through the magazine I was amazed to see the poem, which my dearest dearest wrote for me published in the magazine. It was really a nice experience and feeling :) :) .... Adding icing on the cake I got a call from my Jaanu :)

Bad Luck!

From the past few days I have been planning as usual to post on the blog but as usual I was no getting time to post anything. I’ve been trying to find the perfect atmosphere to write something as there is something going around all the time with me. I had to submit the report for our project and the circuit for the same robot as well. It took me full 24 hours to find the material for the report and I’m sure the material I found was irrelevant. There was nothing of much notice for the “Line tracking robot” so I had to fill the report with bogus articles collected from different sites. It was yesterday on 10th October, 2009 when we had to submit the report with the demo of the circuit we made. Things were going really well, an hour before the start of the demonstration, the circuit was working properly, the report was on course, but around 10 minutes before the start of the presentation things started to go wrong. The report we had made was still to be printed out. As we were already getting late for the demo so we sent one of our class fellows with the USB so that he take out the print outs and hand us over, but by the look of things I get a hint that he copied our report, I’m not so sure about it but the way things have gone It looks that it will be a copy case. On the other hand, our circuit that was working so properly didn’t work during the demo … we were given another chance and we made some changes and made it to work properly but it again refused to work in front of our teacher. The reason we found out was that we had set the voltage to 5V and the board that our teacher had during presentation was set at 6V, well we had worked so hard for both of our report and circuit and we were all really disappointed. Adding insult to injury we were told by our sir that “ We are a copy case, and we had copied all the project of another group, including the design, drawing etc” It was so demoralizing to hear that, we had worked so hard for everything up till now … I’m sure now that cheating, making some variations and getting full marks is loads better than working hard, being sincere and getting a zero :) …. But at the same time I will say that it was no one’s fault, it’s just that luck is not on our side!

A Mix Weekend (2)

Here is the other part of the weekend which was on the sad side to be honest. My dearest dearest had to visit her village on Saturday morning and we had to talk on Friday night. But we couldn’t because my cellfone was not working properly. I started missing her a lot. Thanks to her that we kept in touch through sms and there were signals in the village. The happy thing was that I regularly got to know about her as I was really worried about her :) And I also want to tell you Dearest dearest that I don’t mind your anything and Its always my Farz! :)

A Mix Weekend (1)

This week was a bag of mix for me ... This week's Saturday was on and we had to follow the schedule of Thursday which was the toughest day of the University as I don't have even a single hour free. But thankfully Our Analog Lab, which was of three hours got cancelled. My cousin who got admission in the National University of Sciences and Technology for MS had taken a flat and We ( Me, My room mate and His friend ) had to go to his place for shifting. We arrived with half of the luggage in the car and four people, after reaching there Me and my cousin came back to my hostel and another place to collect the remaining and reached his flat in the evening. The fun started now ..... We didn't even have a single place to sit, the flat needed lots of cleaning and dusting, we didn't have fresh water to drink and nothing to drink. I mopped the flat and then my cousin washed it and it took us almost 4 hours to complete this tough task. The other two guests there made loads noise and hit each other with jokes which indeed was a lot of fun. Later at night we went to the Savour food and had a really enjoyable dinner after loads of hard work. The next day was even tiring when we had to wash the terrace and nothing to take water there. We had a late breakfast and the later half was passed watching movies and listening to songs and dancing! :p We really enjoyed here a lot as there was more space for us to enjoy than our one room in the hostel. It felt home like with houses around you and noise of people, unlike Islamabad which is more of a silent and people not even knowing who their neighbours are ... Well this was the happy part of the week ..... !

After a Fortnight!

I'm posting again after a fortnight ... It was eid time and I went home on the 17th of September. Eid went just normal, it could have been fun but the hot weather and load shedding plus another factor almost ruined it for me. The thing I like about and wait for is the relaxation I get when I go back home. Leaving behind all the tentions of hostel life and Islamabad It gives a soothing change. Ummm I've got to go, I will post further details later as I 've got a lecture right now! :)

SEATS! =X

We had planned long a week before that as Eid is approaching so we will get the seats booked and leave for Multan on Thursday, skipping the Friday lectures. But things didn't go according to plans. After coming back from the University we went to the Daewoo station to book the seats and were amazed to see that all the seats for Thursday had already been booked and the system shall be updated early next morning. We sat there for a while and thought what next to do. We decided to go to the Fasial Movers terminal thing that something is better than nothing. Last time the same thing had happened but we got the seats on Faisal movers so we were really hopeful. But after going there we came to know that all the seats here as well were booked in advance. Dejected, we came back to the hostel. Today in the morning, after sehri we went back to the Daewoo terminal and had to stand in a long queue to get the tickets but thankfully we were successful...

NAMELESS STORY!

SCENE ONE ......

It was a usual sunny Sunday when I woke early and had my favorite for the breakfast. My father told me that we were going to one of his best friend's house. He was an Audit officer and I could still remember in my childhood going their place every weekend and playing cricket with their children in their vast lawn of their big house. we got ready, but on our way I realized that we were going to a really backward area of Multan. I didn't bothered much and after some time we stopped in front of a really small house. It was about two times my room, the door was made of wood and I could see the bricks everywhere. We knocked at the door, we were three people in total. Papa, my brother and me. We went inside and were greeted really well. Everyone was very happy to see us. My not so favorite and usual egg and bread was served ...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SCENE TWO ......

There was a poor family of six people. One day they decided to have a special breakfast for the coming weekend. Usually their morning food comprised of just a cup of tea with the remains of the dinner of last night. They started collecting money for the next weekend which approached within no time. Money they had collected over the week was enough to buy them their special breakfast. On that sunny Sunday the eldest of the two sons went and brought material for their special feast which was "Fried Egg and Bread" =O Everything was ready, the kids really excited, the breakfast was about to start when someone knocked at the door. There were three people standing outside, a man with his two sons. The family had guests to entertain now. The special breakfast was served to the guests...

I Miss my Computer!

I had this last moment change of plan that I wont be bringing my computer with me for the time being and will concentrate more on studies and if necessary I will bring it back after Eid ... it has been a hard time after that, with Ramadan and the fasting there isn't much to do all day.. I had brought some novels from Multan which I had planned to read in the absence of the Computer but the novels are little on the drier side. Of course I will bring the computer back with me when I go home for Eid!

Result ..

I really wasn't much bothered about the result mainly because I wanted some time to relax and I didn't even know when the result was coming. I was anticipating the result on the evening of 28Th or on the 29Th. It was the morning of 27Th August when when my friend paged me and asked when was the result coming, I instantly replied that the result is tomorrow so don't worry about it. In the evening when I was reading a novel in a pretty relax mood my another friend messaged me and asked " what about Ur result? " I quickly turned the Internet on and was really relieved to see that I had got all the B grades! :) Without doubt the papers were not up to the expectations and thankfully the result wasn't up to the expectations as well ;) ..

Exams ..

I had my final exams from the 17-21 August. The preparation for the exams was not as good as the midterm exams. I had not revised my course atleast once after the midterms. As usual I had become lazy after doing good in my midterm exams. Anyways, my first exam was of Calculus... I had given four days to this subject for the preparation, but somehow I end up not preparing well for it. I had been too lazy and had some tensions going on.. The paper went just OK and after watching the paper I could easily tell that the paper was real easy if I had concentrated even a little. The next paper was on the 20Th of August and the subject was complex analysis. My preparation for this subject was same as the previous one but with the difference that the final paper was real difficult and was unexpected. The course that the mam' told wasn't included in the final consisted most of our final paper, but the good thing was that the overall paper wasn't good either and everyone was in a state of shock after the paper. The last paper was of MOMS and this was the only paper I had prepared after the mid tern exam so I wasn't much worried about it. The preparation for this paper was again not up to the mark because of the tensions going around me.. but the paper went satisfactory .. After the paper I straight away forgot about the papers and wanted to relax, it had been hard times for me!

Selasa, 01 September 2009

It has been ages since I last posted. My final papers were on and I had to prepare for them, plus I had so much tensions going all around me. Sometimes u just become helpless.. After my exams I went to Multan and was hoping that I Will be able to post regularly but my computer was out of order. I just came back to Islamabad in the morning and had real tough day today in the University. I'm posting in haste today, will fill up all the missing days soon! btw .... My new semester has started and it looks a real tough one! :D

WE MISS QUIAD--E-AZAM !

"Mr Jinnah, was great as a lawyer, once great as a Congressman, great as a leader of Muslims, great as a world politician and diplomat, and greatest of all as a man of action, By Mr. Jinnah's passing away, the world has lost one of the greatest statesmen and Pakistan its life-giver, philosopher and guide" SURAT CHANDRA BOSE
There are few personalities in the world who have a lasting impression. There are even fewer whom the world remembers for ever. And then there are countable lucky ones whom the world misses more and more with every passing day... they have such a lasting impression on history that in every sense there presence is felt. One of the personality from this last class is Quiad-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, The father of our beloved Pakistan. The one man who stood up and faced the biggest Empire ever in the worlds History and more importantly Foes who told them to be friends, Hindus are the ones I'm talking about. Anyways More than 60 years have passed, alot has changed for Pakistan since then such as people, ways, norms, behaviors and governments etc. It is a simple rule that as soon as a country grows older it becomes stronger and stronger. When I keep Pakistan Insight it really confuses me where are we standing today. All I know is that we miss the Only great Leader we had ... we miss QUIAD-E-AZAM MUHAMMAD ALI JINNAH! ... Although no one lives for ever and has to die, but only if he was alive ... We miss him because We never had a true leader after him, all the leaders we had after him were not clean. Either they had some favours to get, or money to make, or revenge to take, the sincerity just wasn't there. If he was here things would have been different Atleast we would have someone who could lead us and make better and the right decisions for Pakistan. Atleast We wouldn't have to follow the orders of USA. We miss him because there is no one who can take us out of this troublesome time, we are going deeper and deeper into trouble. We miss him because he was clean and he led by example, Our modern leaders either have cases pending in court or they haven't got a good reputation among the public. We miss him because he preferred Pakistan over everything, even himself. "Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three" STANLEY WOLPERT. Today I hear most of the people say that if there comes a bad time on Pakistan, or there is a war they will run away from the country, people saying what has Pakistan given to us, HUH the easier way! Most of our top politicians (our so called leaders) spend half there life running away and outside the country. "Gandhi died by the hands of an assassin; Jinnah died by his devotion to Pakistan." LORD PETHICK LAWRENCE. We miss him because even after 62 years of Independence we are not Independent, Even though we are an Atomic power, Even though we have all the resources but still there is something missing...Pakistan is like a fertile peace of land no one is willing to crop. We need someone half as perfect than Quiad who could make us believe in ourselves again. Times change as I said, the cycle continues and will continue as always, May be one day time changes for good and We will miss Quiad-e-Azam less than we miss him today! ( By the way, why do we miss him only in August ?!! )

ITS JUST A TRY, ERRORS EXPECTED AND ACCEPTED ! :)

BUZY DAYS!!

I haven't been able to post for the last few days and there are many reasons for that: Firstly, I have been busy with my studies and my final exams are approaching. Secondly, because my Internet in the hostel was not working and lastly, i have been busy writing an Article which I'm trying to complete soon.

Raafay Day!

It's 29th of July, It's "Raafay Day", It's My birthday :p
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO !! :D

ALLAH has blessed me with such a wonderful life full of wonderful wonderfulls :) I have been lucky that ALLAH has given me so much after all my mistakes, after all my wrongs. There have been good as well as bad moments in my Life. But regardless of the outcomes I've enjoyed every bit of my life..

Thanks ALLAH ... :)

For Making me a Muslim and a follower of Hazrat Muhammad(P.B.U.H).

For making me a Pakistani. I Love my country and it makes me feel proud.

For My Parents who have given me all the comfort and Security I needed. Teaching me the difference between Right and Wrong, Good and Bad.

For blessing me with My Dearest Dearest who is my Bestest ever friend and Life partner(INSHAALLAH), Who completes my Life.

For Blessing me with Hamza, Manal and Tamur, I enjoy every moment with them.

For Friends who never make me feel alone.

And for a successful, Cheerful, Healthy and Happy Life. A Life that has taught me much.. A life that is ALLAH'S Property and will end one day... And a Life that has a meaning!

I pray to ALLAH that Make me follow the Right path. The Path of Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H). Make me do One noble deed that benefits everyone and the world remembers me for good. Make All my wishes and prayers come true.. Ameen! :)

My Hope!

I will put Pakistan favourite for the ODI series against Srilanks. Although there is so much going on within the team still Pakistan have a better chance than Srilanka. Pakistan lost there Practice match against Srilanka A with not a huge margin, but the way srilankans belted the Pakistani bowlers all around the park is a sign of danger. The two new commers from ICL, Rana Naveed and Imaran Nazir both failed in the warm up but I think they will be included in the XI. Pakistan have a mix of fasinating players with Nasir Jamsheed coming back in the side and Imran Nazir another attacker Pakistan have a few other opening options to go with. Umar Akmal is another rising star, the brother of Kamran Akmal he displayed his worth in the warm up match scoring 120* of just 73 balls. Fawad Alam and Abdul Razzaq are in form Yousuf and Younis in the middle order, Misbah and Malik will have to work hard to keep there places in the team. Bowling has always been Pakistan's Strong point, In the fast bowling department Pakistan have Umar Gull, Muhammad Amir, Rana Naveed, Rao Iftikhar, Abdul Razzaq and Spinners Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridy.

My Hope: Pakistan must win the series by a margin of 3-2 Atleast!

Imran Nazir, Nasir Jamshed, Younis Khan, Muhammad Yousuf, Misbah-ul-Haq, Umar Akmal, Abdul Razzaq, Shahid Afridy, Shoaib Malik, Fawad Alam, Rana Naveed, Rao Iftikhar, Umar Gull, Muhammad Aamir, Saeed Ajmal.

Tiring and Boring

Life these days is boring. With nothing much to do and the hot weather it has been really difficult for me to pass the day. It has been tiring as well, yesterday I had a make up class from 2:30-5:30pm and today is even more tiring with a two hour class of Calculus and a quiz in it, which just went OK. An hour class in the afternoon, and another make up class at the same time as yesterday.. This always happens, the professors take the course lightly before mid terms and after the mids they just start to rush but we will have to deal with it. The tentative date sheet for the final exams has been displayed, I have a paper on the 17th following a paper on 20th and 21st respectively. I hope that the date sheet changes and I have atleast a days break in each of the paper. At the same time I want papers to end quickly, I just want to go home..

Help !!!

This Actually is the Pakistani way of helping. Whenever u help someone, in return you want a favor from others. I don't remember where I heard this but someone said " In Pakistan the person with a good character is the one who never got a chance", Which i believe is true... Unfortunately :p

Way to go!

There are Situations on which you just don't have control. You just have to deal with them and deal in the right way. There are no margins of error. Here I found myself in the same situation and I have been unable to figure out a solution. But there has to be a solution, there has to be a way and there is a way for sure. But it's better to wait than to rush and that perhaps is the best way to go.

After having a really good time, during which although things didn't went perfect in the start but both of Us, Me and Dearest dearest were able to sort out a few misunderstandings. But the day we were able to solve and the day I felt that things will get really perfect from now on, the same Unfortunate event occured. We both have perhaps no control over it and the best way is to wait as I earlier wrote. I understand her problems and If I keep myself at her place it would have been real tough for me. The days we talked I could feel it quiet easily that She was tense and I want to tell her that no matter what I AM there for you whenever you need me and I promise that I will help and guide you through the most difficult time of your life!

Lets Review Cricket :p

Yesterday was the last day of the Third and final test match between Pakistan and Srilanka. Everyone including me were expecting Pakistan to win atleast this last test match as they were in such a commanding position entering the 5th day. I'm not an expert on Cricket but still I'm trying to analyze the match :D Srilankans won the toss and put Pakistan into bat on a wicket that had some juice in it. Younis khan said at the toss that he would have batted anyway so both the teams thad their best possible chance. Pakistan started off steadily on a seaming track but lost two quick wickets at the end of first hour. Yousuf and Khurram steadied Pakistan's position but sadly got out in their 90's, Muhammad Yousuf threw his wicket away when he got run out of an over throw. Misbah and Malik at last showed some resistance by taking Pakistan to 281/4 but soon that madness which has happened so many times in this series cost Pakistan 6 wickets for 18 runs and were bundled out for 299. They just don't seen to be comfortable when the ball is moving. Pakistan bowled well and restricted srilankans to 233 and getting a lead of 66 runs. Srilankans were 180/8 when Tilkarathne Dilshan was not given out by Umpire Ian Gould, the catch was obvious but Gould made many mistakes in the match which cost Pakistan much. Dilshan added 53 runs with the last two wickets. Pakistan's second innings started poorly when they were struggling for 67/4 which included the wickets of the two Y's in which Younis khan was given out Lbw by Ian Gould which was a terrible decision. Misbah at last came into some kind of form scoring 50 in the last innings after failing the whole series and that was the pattern he followed against Australia earlier this year. There is for sure something going wrong with Misbah. Well,he should realize that he is 35 now and don't have much time so he should avoid politics and focus on his Cricket. Malik scored a Hundred and saved his place in the team for a while and with his help Pakistan posted 425 giving srilankans a target of impossible 498. Going to the final day Srilanks were 155/3 with dilshan injured and Pakistan had a good chance of winning it but the srilankans responded well and just lost one wicket in the whole day. The reason I think Pakistan couldn't win was the failure of their fast bowlers. Umar Gul totally looked out of sorts not in this match but whole of the series. One plus Pakistan should be given is that they played test cricket after a long time and should be given the benefit of doubt.

Photographic Memory

On Tuesday it rained here in Islamabad. The weather was really nice, with dark clouds lavishing over the sky. I had to go to the University early in the morning to attend the class but I missed the Hostel bus because I wasn't able to find my University card on time. So I took a taxi and went to the University. I had not been able to find my Card and I was worried that the guards might not let me enter the University. The security here in Islamabad has been tight for several days now. As soon as the taxi took the turn from my hostel I saw this really amazing view of clouds over the mountains. I could not resist myself and started taking photos with my cell phone. As I was taking the photos I didn't realize that the Army men standing for the security check stopped the taxi and asked me to come out. I got really confused and frightened. They started to inquire by asked me who I was and where was I going? I told them that I am going to the University which is just near so they asked for my Identity or University card. I remembered that I had didn't have the University card nor do I have an ID card, but unintentionally I started checking my bag.. And much to my relief I found the University card inside one of my books. I felt much calm now and suddenly a smile came to my face :D They saw the Card and let me go Advising me not to take the photo of Any army building ( While taking the photo I forgot that Actually I was passing the Army training Institute :D )

A pleasant Day

The Thursday's rain had a good affect on everything. I had just one lab to attend but it was delayed by one hour. But the good thing is that we were marked present for a total of three Labs and now we have just two more labs remaining. The weather was pleasant but the sun was out. I went to the Computer lab after attending the Lab. After coming back to the hostel i don't know what got into me and I slept for almost Five hours and work at almost 9pm in the evening. After the Revolution in the food of the Hostel today the dinner was awesome, i just hope that this revolution is permanent :D ... The best part of the day has always been when I talk with my Dearest dearest. I enjoyed a lot yesterday, this has been the best part of my life for long now and This is what I pray, continues forever INSHAALLAH!

Rain O Rain

Rain O Rain,
Come and wash away my pain.
It's been a long journey,
through this valley of woe,
It's going all wrong,
I've been trying much though.
Where ever there is hope,
the darkness falls,
Where ever I find an opening,
the doors are locked.
But I will keep on trying,
until the day is dawned,
And will never give up,
till the doors are thrashed.
I pray to thee Almighty,
don't ever make me fall,
It's for that very day,
I want to stand all tall.

Do u have a Problem?

Although I wont prefer this type of solution to the problem but sometimes it is the best solution! :p

Change !

I have had little to cherish for a couple of days now, it hasn't been working the way I wanted to. Yesterday I came to the University and got my result for the first two subjects and I was pretty happy but like the other day, Second half was a nightmare. I didn't take the breakfast because I woke up late and In the afternoon when I had my Lunch I started feeling Nausea. It was terribly hot in the day and with Load shedding out of schedule it made things worse. Because of the Camping trip I won't be having any classes this week except for a Lab today. It rained heavily in the morning and made weather cooler. I hope this rain brings a change in fortune for me. The day has only begun and this hope will go on till the end of the day!

Unexpected!

Yesterday wasn't the best of days for me. After the exams had ended I wanted a break but the very next day I had my regular class to attend. Although I reached the university on time but I didn't take the class. The next class was later in the afternoon so I spent most of my time in the computer lab. In my next lecture which was taken by Sir. Irshad, he commented that " Raafay you are a good boy and you should concentrate more" now it's upto me whether I take it as a compliment or advise :D .... My room mate came to the hostel today because of the camping trip arranged by the university for Naaran. I'm not going there. The next part of the day was worst than expected... I had a fight with my Dearest dearest and whatever excuses I make it wasn't good.
All I wish is that I was with my Dearest dearest, things would have been much easier. But one thing i must appreciate is that after all the trouble she has to go through she still finds a way we can talk and I know from the bottom of my heart that She loves me and will make things better for both of US, and that is her biggest Quality ... her Soft heart just like she is :)

I'll ask for her permission if I can write her name in my blog posts! :)

I got the marks for my two out of three papers in which were 25/35 and 25.5/35 which seeing the average are good marks .... Thanks Allah! :) but its the last paper I fear the most :D

YAAAAAAAYYYYY!

I'm here after a gap of almost a week. I had my mid term exams which went really good thanks to Almighty. My First paper was of Calculus for which i had thought my preparation had gone well. But the paper was unexpected and most of the questions were out of course, although I managed to do it well. The next paper was of complex analysis. The course was short and the preparation was well, i had worked really hard in complex analysis and the paper went awesome MashaAllah! The paper was easier than expected and most of the questions were the ones i remembered by heart :p The Last paper was yesterday which didn't go as expected. I was unable to study for this paper, may be i took it lightly because the course was not much and i got relaxed. After working hard for the first two papers i couldn't concentrate and everything flew out of my mind. The paper was unexpected. Sir had told me that 5 straight numerical will come and when I saw the paper it had 50 percent numerical and 50% theory for which i had not prepare at all. The paper was going fine until the last two questions which I messed due to shortage of time.

The most important source of Happiness for me was that Me and My Dearest dearest had started talking again on the phone ... Thanks to the rain! It feels so light whenever we talk and it always refreshes me. Thanks Alot =* u have done so much for me .. I LOVE YOU! :)

Islamabad It is ...Exams Time!

Its Wednesday, 15th July And yesterday I reached Islamabad early in the morning. The weather here was far better than Multan. Had to take taxi to reach my hostel. I barely had time to take rest as i had a class at 8:30am in the morning. I felt sleepy all day long and reached hostel at 4pm. After that i went to sleep and thats how my day passed. The next day, today I was furious when i reached the university and found out that there was no class as Sir was not present! we had reqested Sir not to take the class today but he refused and said that any student who won't come will be marked absent. My Exams are starting from Tomorrow so i might not be able to post during the exams. I have to prepare for them as well. These exams are of real important for my future. Best of Luck to me!

One My Way Back!

Its Monday, 13th July ..... It was my last day of the trip here in Multan and what i felt the hottest as well. The day started with my Favourite breakfast. Rest of the day passed so fast that I had no time to do anything. I wish time could stop, but it never does ... even when you try to stop it starts running ever faster. I went for shopping with Papa and Mama and bought some T-Shirts. Then i came back and started packing. Then all of a sudden Multan seemed to feel so hot. It was evening but i started perspiring as I'm standing right in front of the sun. Well then i realized it wasn't that hot in Multan, it was me feeling sad and not wanting to go back to the tiring, routine life of Islamabad, but yes i can do nothing about it! Here I am in the bus writing this post with a heavy heart... Miss you and love you Everyone!

Two days too Hot

Its Sunday 12th July .... I had real hot burning couple of days here but its still enjoyable, yesterday i had a quiet morning during which Me, Hamza and Tamur watched both the parts of Chronicles of Narnia. It was an interesting story which based on the family of Four children who not knowing, enter the world of a wicked witch and then battle for survival for their as well as for the people of Narnia. In the evening we went to our cousins place. Arham, Meerab, Meesha and Ujala are my four little angels and are so attached with me. It was also my Khala's birthday so I ended up having a good time there. Sunday was nothing much to talk about except that we went out for lunch and at night we visited our cousins for a movie night. I drove the car btw....! ;)

During these two days I was out of touch with my Dearest dearest because of the reasons we both can do nothing about except to wait and pray. And i am really thankful to my Dearest dearest who even after so much troubles and problems takes out time and we have been able to keep in touch either via mail or cellphone :)

Home Sweet Home

Friday, 10th July ....... I reached Multan at around 7am in the morning. Papa and Tamur were already there at the terminal. Tamur had been awake since 5am in the morning just so that he could come to receive me. It felt so nice when you are back home. The same hot air even the morning, packs of mangoes all over the bus terminal, rickshaws ready to eat you up by there noise. I had realized that it's going to be a hot trip this time around but Tamur told that there wasn't much load shedding in Multan which was good to know. I had my favourite breakfast waiting for me which i didn't waste much time finishing. The day turned out to be terribly hot and there was load shedding all day long. It was very difficult to switch from the weather of Islamabad to Multan's. During the day i had cousins visiting me, had a good time with them. It feels so comforting when you are with your family. Mama wasn't feeling well and had severe pain in her root canal. Thankfully as the day passed she felt better. I was in constant touch with my Dearest dearest via mail and at night we did have a little chat on messaging which made me even more cheerful! At night we went out for dinner which was my all time favourite "Shaami Anda" :D I'm about to sleep and even at night its real hot here but thanks to the Air Conditioner!

Back to Multan

It is Thursday, 9Th July and i have to go back to Multan today. The day started with a bubbly morning and i was total cheered up because i was going home after such a long time, Well after a month and a half. The day in the University was also enjoyable as there was no study at all because of the Project Exhibition taking place during the weekend. The only class i had to attend was late in the day after 2pm during which i got my quiz results in which i had passed in 2 out of 3. I came back to the hostel at 4pm and started Packing, i thought that the packing wont take much time as i was going home for four days but i was proved wrong it almost took three hours to pack. I reached the bus terminal an hour before the bus was due to arrive at 11pm. The journey wasn't as enjoyable as it used to be and i spend most of 9 hours long journey sleeping and checking my cellphone after regular intervals. There was no doubt that i was missing my Dearest dearest ... its 6am in the morning and i am about to reach Multan.

Its Never Easy !

I had been planning to write my regular blog but i don't think I'm that regular and writing it everyday would have been hectic so i will try to write my weekly blog. Although i know no one ever reads it! :D

My week started with an early Monday morning, although i had no class to attend till 12:30pm. I went to the University and spend my time in the computer lab surfing the Internet. Cricinfo, my favourite website was blocked due to unknown reasons and Usually Facebook and other sites blocked from time to time so there was nothing much to do. Last week hadn't been that good for me. I had decided that i will go back to Multan this weekend after this tough time, but the fate had other ideas. During my Material of Mechanics class i had a phone call and i went outside to attend it, when i came back i was amazed to see the class was empty. Later i came to know that the two hour class ended in just 55 minutes and i had been marked absent so now i am not going back until i get my attendance up to the required. I hope i will be able to go in the next week. The week had started badly for me, But i had some time to relax when my biggest problem was solved thanks to my dearest dearest.

Tuesday wasn't a good day either as i had a Calculus class in the morning but the lecture was shifted to the other block and i was sitting alone in the old classroom, at the same time i was told by the coordinator the my name was not even in the list of students registered for the course, i had to rush alot to get the problem sorted out. Except that there wasn't much to do in the University. The only positive for the day was that i was able to concentrate on my studies although the weather was hot and my hostel room was burning red.

Wednesday was a normal day, had Consecutive classes till the afternoon. After the classes i went back to my hostel as i had to prepare for my Complex Analysis quiz, i started to prepare but soon gave it up because i wan not feeling a little sad. After a gap of some days i started going for the walk again. The weather was good It had rained in the afternoon and pleasant breeze was blowing in the F-9 Park.

Thursday when i woke up i was having fever, but still went to the University early as i had a Lab to attend, but i came to know that the lab has been canceled. After that i had my quiz which went OK and i made a blunder as usual but i think i will get 70% marks at least...hopefully! it rained heavily in the evening and the weather was again really good. it was another good day for a walk. One thing that i dearly wanted to happen was not taking place due to various reasons.

Friday was a good day to start with, i felt really good when i woke up early in the morning, i had a class in the morning at 08:30-09:30pm and the other at 03:00pm so had alot of time to study, which actually i did. In my first class i had a quiz which went well and i was happy after that. The thing i wanted the most didn't happen today either but when i reached the hostel i received a mail which solved all my problems and i was feeling real good after so many tense days. btw... i had Channa pulao in the lunch which made me feel even better after the mail. I didn't study at all today and was at rest and watched a movie as well.

I had planned to Study on Saturday but things never go according to plan especially when it comes to study. The First cricket match between Pakistan and Srilanka started today and all day long i was listening to the radio as the TV room is always occupied by the staff. Pakistan did well to restrict Srilanka to 292, but were 15/2 at the close of play. An interesting fact here is that Muhammad Aamir is the first man in the history of game to take a wicket in the first over of his debut in T20 and Test matches, I'm sure it is a record. lets see if he takes a wicket first ball in his ODI debut. Another source of happiness was that i receive two mails which was just the icing on the cake i needed :).

I woke up a bit late on Sunday and had a real heavy breakfast. Just went out to take the newspaper and i could easily guess that it will be a hot day today. I started to do Calculus in the day but couldn't do much of it as the questions were real difficult. At the same time i was listening to the commentary of the cricket match as well. Muhammad Yousuf scored a century on his return which was good to see, but after being in a strong position Pakistan just threw it away and ended with 342 on the board with a lead of 50 runs which could easily be of 100 runs had they not lost their last 5 wickets for 48 runs. Overall Sunday wasn't a great day and it never is!

My this week was a bag of mix ... with sad times at the start but it ended on a good note. I hope things get better soon enough as i feel so empty. I hopefully will be going home next week and that might bring some change to this boring routine of Islamabad. One thing i really want to do is to get regular in Namaz and i will try my best that in this week i do get regular. In the end a big THANKS to my Dearest Dearest to bring me back to Life! :)

INNOCENT DOBBY

At last Dobby was killed in the last part of harry potter series. Without doubt it can be said that Dobby was the most ignored character in the series. After a huge success of the second Harry potter movie Dobby was not even included in the next movies without no reason at all. It was easily visible thtat the second movie had a huge success and Dobby had a major part to play in that as kids loved the Dobby character. May be Dobby had to pay the price of being famous.infact Famous more than even "Mr. Harry Potter". May be the writer and the director had the fear that Dobby is taking more attention and the main characters of the movie were sidelined atleast in the presence of Dobby. He was made one of the victims for saving harry potter which is fine but it seems like J.K.Rowling for no reason was feeling jelous from Dobby and she took the revenge by killing "Dobby the Great" in the last part. She had to kill Harry potter in the final book but Harry gave Rowling " $ 500 " for not killing him and "$ 5000" for killing dobby. It was confirmed that Dobby was offered the role of Spider man and also in the latest Mission Impossible 4 Movie in place of Tom Cruise but he refused because he wanted to be a part of coming Harry Potter movies. Very few people know that Emma Watson refused to take part in the 6 and 7 movie just because she wanted Dobby back. Dobby was the " Hero " of the future. He will be remembered in times to come. Mother's will tell stories to their children and "Dobby day" will be celebrated all over the world and it will be a holiday in the remembrance of Dobby.Dobby was innocent; he was not at all worth killing. Why not Ron? Why not Neville? At least Dobby was more attractive than Neville; in fact it was a sad end to a great personality. People were crying all over the world on his death. Strikes were held throughout the world. All Dobby fans Request Queen to Crown Dobby and give him the title of "Sir" because he deserves it. He is alive in our hearts for ever. I promise to all of Dobby fans when I will be the president of Pakistan I shall give " Nishan-E-Haider " to Dobby. May Dobby's soul rest in peace.

A Man of Words

A man of words and not of deeds,
is like a garden full of weeds.
And when the weeds began to grow,
its like a garden full of snow.
And when the snow begins to fall,
its like a bird upon the wall.
And when the bird away does fly,
its like an eagle in the sky.
and when the sky begins to roar,
its like a lion at the door.
And when the door begins to crack,
its like a stick across your back.
And when your back begins to smart,
its like a pen knifein your heart.
And when your heart begins to bleed,
you are dead and dead and dead indeed.
