Farewell!

After coming back from Multan it has been boring all the way up till now. One thing that could have cheered me up was a Pakistani win against New Zealand but they way they threw the match was sad to see. Although they have won against Zimbabwe but I guess the damage is already done. They will have to beat the ''Invincilbe so far' Australian team to stay at the top of the group and a loss will throw them down to the fourth and last spot which leave them facing either India or most probably South Africa. Overall the World Cup has been going really well and has come up to the expectations and according to my thinking will be the pinnacle for the One Day International. There have been lots of close games and upsets until now and they world cup format is interesting as well as it gives equal chance to all the teams participating in the tournament to show their potential.

As far as the studies are concerned I have been trying my best to get my self busy with the studies and stuff but its been hard. The courses are a little bit difficult to cover but I'll have to do them anyway. Mid term exams are near and I sure will have to perform well in the exams. Two of the courses are although not that time consuming but the main problem is that my expectations for those subjects is an A grade which makes things a little more difficult for me.

My personal life is going through a difficult phase. I was so happy after the new start but It was a shock to hear everything what I listened and to believe that was even harder. Its making me so depress and furthermore my health is down these days. But I can only hope that people will realize and wont commit these mistakes they did just recently.

I haven't been writing about my self much and that's solely because of the reason that the World Cup, Studies and health is keeping me busy all the time. I really want to go back home as life here is so tough for me but I guess that won't be possible until the sports week that starts as late as 11th April. I'm also planning to shift to a new place, perhaps some change might be good for me.

Our farewell party was on the 14th of March and it sure did live up to the expectations. Although I was initially hesitant to go as I was not feeling well and it was Pakistan's match as well but in the end it was worth attending it as i did not want to miss the most important function of my student life. It was emotional as well as a proud moment for me. The arrangement was spectacular and the management was fine as well. When I reached the front lawn I instantly found my class fellows, although the starting time was 7pm but it was obvious that it wont start at time. We had a photo session and then we went inside and met all other class fellows and talked alot.

The function started as late as 8pm. There were videos, tributes, skits, titles, music, dance, jokes everything you could have imagined. The best part was perhaps the Punjabi dubbed video and the titles that were given to us by the juniors. All of the class had loads of fun out there. Ali Hameed gave the final speech from our class. It was a day that I will remember throughout my life. I'm already starting to miss my days at Air University. Although I had a real tough time here and things were so difficult but I'll put it all to the university who gave me the courage to stand up to the tough moments, cross the hurdles. It also gave me the knowledge and confidence, my happy and sad moments, my proud and best days to me The function finished at 11pm and we had a delicious dinner at the end and were served with Kashmiri tea at the end. We had another photo session at the end.
