How Presidential Candidates Should Dress Tonigh

GOP-candidates-fashion

Tonight, October 11th, GOP candidates, including Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and Ron Paul, will be debating over critical issues like taxes, the deficit, the job market, unemployment, as well as their their plans to create stronger economic growth. While leadership, critical thinking, and the ability to take on important issues without "beating around the bush" should take center-stage, things like attire should not be forgotten either. We at Ties-Necktie.com have been observing how the GOP candidates dress. Thus far, to our disappointment, we have been shown the same gray suit and red tie look. Because impressions are formed within the first few seconds of meeting someone we believe that GOP candidates can use their ensemble more to their advantage. Below are some tips that will create a winning look in tonight's debate. Maybe, we are hoping they do, one of the candidates reads this article and actually follows our advise. We shall see tonight!

The Suit
The suit must remain dark charcoal gray. It should be plain, simple, and elegant. Because the suit is the largest visible clothing item it is not the piece Candidates want to experience with. Avoided should be visible patterns like pin stripes and checks. The suit should be 2 or 3 button style with a low to medium V-cut, which will add the illusion of height and stature. The fabric should fall in the Super120 to Super160 range. Anything above Super160 wool will look too shiny, creating a look that is too dressy, formal, and possibly even a look that can be perceived as "stuck-up". Finally the suit must be perfectly tailored. For more information please read our tutorial on: Proper Men's Suit Fitting

The Dress Shirt
Again, the look must be classic and conservative, making the solid white dress shirt the only acceptable choice. The shirt should be well pressed and wrinkle free. We suggest to keep the shirt as classic and simple as possible. We suggest regular barrel cuffs since French cuffed shirts (worn with cufflinks) might be perceived as too flashy.

The Tie
Thus far we have seen almost exclusively ruby red ties during the past debates. Why red? Well, red is a color that creates the highest level of emotional responses in the observer. It is a color that stands out and draws attention to it. It is quite obvious that each candidates intentionally picked the red tie to get more noticed than the person standing next to them. But if all candidates are wearing the same red tie it is difficult for the observer to keep them apart.

Therefore, we at Ties-Necktie suggest a different color and even a slightly more unique design than the solid color tie. For tonight's debate we are hoping to see more blue ties, striped ties, and ties with more visible patterns like polka dots and even paisleys. Especially blue ties should be used more. Blue is a very likeable color that is typically associated with calmness, tranquility, and serenity.

Also considered should be ties going a bit into the brown color. We are not suggesting solid brown ties but instead suggest ties in burnt orange as well as dark burgundy. Brown is a color that is associated with maturity, experience, and intelligence. Burgundy red ties are perfect since they combine the psychological emotions of brown with the excitement of red. The same is true for dark orange neckties.

Pakistan Cricket's Downfall, The Inside Story.

This Post is Just for you Ali Mustaan :)

Its a pretty long and sad story and I can write a full book if I wanna, but I will be short here as possible. So take it as PART 1..

When Shoaib Malik was announced as the captain after the 2007 World Cup many people raised questions over his ability as a captain and this thing was proved later when his behavior got very strange with the players and he usually did not talk with others. Younis Khan was his supporter at that time, because when Younis Khan was going through a lean patch during 2008, Shoaib Malik supported him. But when Shoaib Malik was removed from the captaincy, after the 2008 series against Srilanka and younis Khan was made the captain, Shoaib Malik was very hurt and disappointed and thought that Younis Khan lobbied against him even though he supported younis khan (If I remember it was 2008 Triangular series BD-PAK-IND in which Younis khan scored 0-0-118) so he turned against Younis even though Younis Khan still was his supporter.

At first Shoaib Malik was alone so he had no choice except to play well and stayin the team but later that time, Younis Khan became very strict with his players and the usual him (funny and jolly) dissapeared because the former players objected that he is too careless. Youins Khan showed sincerity and brought back the Pakistani players from the ICL (unofficial cricket league) and arranged a meeting with the Cricket board so Abdul Razzaq, Muhammad Yousuf, Rana Naveed, Imran Nazir and many other players were brought back. But as most of them were senior players they did not like the way Younis khan was strict and wanted the players to practice and work hard, so players like M.Yousuf and Abdul Razzaq turned against him. On the other side, Shoaib Malik lobbyed with Misbah Ul Haq and Kamran Akmal and also added Rana Naveed later, but during that time Pakistan won the T20 world cup that too thanks to players like Saeed Ajmal, Muhammad Amir, Umar Gull, Shahid Afridi who were with Younis Khan, all the other players did nothing special in that world cup.

In the champions trophy 2009 later in October things got more worse when The Malik group and Muhammad Yousuf got together, u would remember both Malik and M.Yousuf scored high and won us the match against India proving that they can play well but were throwing it away previously.

After Pakistan lost to New Zealand during the Champions Trophy Semi Final, Younis Khan was summoned by the Parliamentary committee and he resigned after that, but due to public pressure he was brought back and Pakistan played three ODI's vs New Zealand in Dubai. That was when things got to the worst point. Just before the third ODI Muhammad Yousuf had a terrible fight with Younis Khan and refused to play during the 3rd ODI of the series and Pakistan who needed just 202 runs to win the match lost by 80 odd runs, while Shoaib Malik who had to stay at the wicket at a critical point just threw it his wicket away in a strange manner.

Younis Khan resigned after that saying that he had lost control over his players, and Muhammad Yousuf was announced the captain for the tours of Australia and New Zealand. But this was not the end of the story ....

Down Down Down!

Grüß Gott Friends!
Why don't I write about me? Hmm well I don't feel like writing anymore.. I feel really down!

First things First: I have studied many many books in my life.. Famous...Written by great writers... Thoughtful ... Thrillers .. Knowledgeable.. Interesting. A few days back I tried the translation of Holy Quran and let me tell you its easily the Best script .. Most Knowledgeable .. Interesting.. Thoughtful book I have EVER read!! That too, written by the Bestest and the greatest writer, the creator of the World! I should curse myself for never ever reading that even though I badly wanted to do so!

(He is) the Lord of the two easts (places of sunrise during early summer and early winter) and the Lord of the two wests (places of sunset during early summer and early winter). He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

I miss home and I'm missing it badly. Its been a month now since I last visited which may not seem a lengthy time but the reality is that staying alone makes life difficult. I find it difficult to concentrate on anything.

When I talk about studies, they also are going no where. Past year and a half has been very good for me study-wise. First thought is perhaps I've become over confident and the second and the scariest thought is that I can't study anymore now.

I can't study anymore now?!

This might relate to my health which is going down day by day. I will not go into the details. But obviously thats a naive reason for not studying :D I have my exams coming up and I haven't been able to study, although all the time I'm trying to solve the numerical but nothing is sticking in my mind. One month is my limit...thats when my mind stops working, and I have to go home but the time span is too short and I cannot take any risk.

The new Future tour Program looks fine for Pakistan and If they are able to revive the series against the arch rivals India, it might turn out to be healthy 8-9 years for the future.

I got my first writing payment a couple of weeks ago and I'm happy about it. I also have a couple of more offers to write professionally but don't know why I'm lazy about it. May be I don't want to write keeping money in mind.
Tschüss ... Hope to see you soon! :)

Happiness: The way to Happiness :)

" As I go through all kinds of feelings and experiences in my journey through life -- delight, surprise, chagrin, dismay -- I hold this question as a guiding light: "What do I really need right now to be happy?" What I come to over and over again is that only qualities as vast and deep as love, connection and kindness will really make me happy in any sort of enduring way." Sharon Salzber

Irish Folk tales

Some time ago, four months to be exact, while I was writing the article on the African folk tales It was very Interesting to see two countries who had lots of folk and fairy tales of their own. One of them was Pakistan and the other was Ireland. For those of you who don't know about Ireland as a country, without going into details, it is a country situated at the east of United Kingdom and mostly consists of the rural areas. Ireland has a long history of strange stories and fairy tales and there is  a long list of them, I'll share the ones which one of my Irish friend rated as top 10 with you people.

Banshee: According to the Irish traditions Banshee is the spirit of a woman, which moans and roars whenever someone is about to die in the country. By doing this She informs people in advance that something bad is about ho happen. People of Ireland consider the wails of Banshee as bad luck and call it the voice of death because it brings death with itself. Old myths tell that Banshee is seen in different getups at different times. Sometimes she is in the form of an old women whose dress is all torn up, sometimes she is seen as a pretty young lady, sometimes she is visible as a woman washing blood stained clothes from which wails are heard. According to another myth who ever sees Banshee cries in a deadly voice and sometime later, someone from the family of that person passes away. There are particular families who are believed to have banshees attached to them, and whose cries herald the death of a member of that family It is also said that the King of Scotland, James I, had this fear that he has listened to the cries of Banshee and due to his fear he died a terrible death.

The Pookas: Pookas are one of the most feared creatures in Ireland. Although their fairy tale is also famous in the Scottish territory and Wales but it is basically considered an Irish folk tale. Pookas are short and sling creatures who always create problems for human beings and therefore It can be said there name origin comes from the Scandinavian word for nature spirit pook or puke. They may appear as a horse, rabbit, goat, goblin, or dog. According to the Irish people pookas are a type of spirits or fairies who always want this world troublesome. According to the tradition Pookas appear in the rural areas and they destroy the crops of people with happiness, dry the wells, make the animals run away from the farm. When its the worst, Pookas appear in the city and call names of people living, and who ever comes out of the house is taken away by the silly creatures and is never seen again. Pookas also create problems for the ships who come to the Irish shores for business purposes and lead them to the wrong direction. It is also said that many ships have been also destroyed by the Pookas.

Changelings: According to the oldest of traditions Changelings are the fairies who give birth to unbaptized children. But the problem is that these fairies only like kids who are good looking and hate all the other ones. Because they only give birth to the children who are not good looking so the only solution they have found out is that they leave their child in the world and take away the good looking ones, by doing this they are satisfied that they have not stolen anyones child as they left one in place of the real. These changelings children also have emotions but the only problem is that they are only happy at a place where there is troubles, someone is dead or someone is hurt. It is said that this thing continued on for centuries. William Shakespeare  also mentioned such types of creatures in his play 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.

The Children of Lir: The Children of Lir is an Irish folk tale. The story goes as, Lir was the king of Sea. He was living a happy life with his family of four children and a wife but one day his wife died and his life became dull. To get rid of his loneliness he married Aoife, the sister of his wife. Aoife hated the children right from the start and always wanted to get rid of them. So one day she took them to the lake near by. The children were very happy coming to the lake, they jumped in the lake and started playing in the water. Aoife was waiting for this opportunity, she turned the children into Swans with the help of magic and left them in the lake. The children could not do anything and were helpless in front of the witch. Many days passed when the children heard the bells of the near by church. They traveled the sound of bells and reached the river, from where they reached the waterfall where the church existed. They waited for the church bell to ring for almost 900 years when at last Saint' Patrick came to Ireland and rescued them from the evil magic of Aoife.

Dagda's Harp: He was a famous priest of his times in the Irish folk tales. He kept a big and beautiful harp with him all the time and people recognized him with the harp. During a war the opponent tribe stole the harp from Dagda and hid it in a far away fort. Dagda followed them, reached their territory and asked them to return the harp but the people of the enemy tribe gave no importance to what he was saying and ignored him. Seeing this, Dagda called the harp himself and to the amazement of the people it did return to him. After that Dagda played such deep emotional tune with the harp that all the people present started to cry. Soon Dagda played another tune and all the people started to laugh and smile. He did not stop here and played another tune that made everyone sleep and he was able to come back safely.

Calces-Selkie: In Ireland the stories of Calces and Selkie are also famous. They have resemblance to the Mermaids but the only difference is that Selkie change themselves to human beings at night whereas Mermaids remain the same all the time in their natural look which is, half fish and half woman. It is famous that Selkie are some of those fishes that are strike the shores of Ireland in the summer season. Myth says that many men catch the Selkie in their human form at night and marry them. Selkie are so trustworthy that they spend all their lives serving their husbands but long for the sea water. If their husbands set them free they return to the sea happily and take care of the whole family to which they had served.

The Shamrock: The three green leaves of Shamrock are more Important to the people of Ireland than just the unofficial state symbol. One of them, Marshmallows or Candy is considered a good luck sign for Irish people. Shamrock has very detailed history and Importance for Ireland. Druids are of the opinion that Shamrock is a holy plant which serves as a protection from bad and evil spirits. Where as Celtics think that Shamrock has some supernatural powers who are beneficial for humans especially because of the three heart shaped leaves, they also give lots of importance to the number 3. Some Christians also believe that Shamrock is a symbol of Trinity (God-Jesus-Gabriel).

Fin MacCool: According the the Irish history Fin MacCool is a fairy tale hero who is found in many stories and tales of Ireland. Here a story of the Solomon fish is very famous. Solomon was a fish who was very knowledgeable and learned, even more than the humans. Fin MaCool decided that he should eat the Solomon so that all the knowledge and Intelligence is transferred to him. He caught the fish and cut it, when he did so the blood of the fish and her thorns injured Fin MacCool's thumb and it started to bleed. To lessen the pain he started sucking his thumb and that was the moment when all the knowledge from the fish transferred to him. It is said that whenever he sucked his thumb after that he was able to answer every question asked and solve every problem that he faced.

Faeries: In every tradition and myth faeries are always present in one way or the other but in Irish traditions they are of utmost importance. It is said that the only faeries that only exist now are in Ireland. They can change themselves to humans whenever they want and are still present as normal people within the irish community. Although they can change themselves to anything they want but they prefer their human shape. All the faeries are very powerful and have strong magical powers but their bad luck is that they cannot resist against anything for long. They are also considered bad luck to humans and try to avoid interactions with them as they don't want to hurt anyone because of themselves.

Leprechaun: The famous Irish dwarf, Leprechaun is mainly related to faeries and is thought to be present only in Ireland, its origins are found in the middle ages as well. These dwarfs are actually longer than the usual dwarfs thought to exist in the world. The are mostly found as old aged men who are not so small and are opposite to the natural thinking of dwarfs. Their face resembles to those of small kids and are always wearing green dress. Old myths tell that these Leprechaun are very fond of collecting gold which they collect in different utensils and hide it in the rainbow. Whenever they are caught by some humans they have to fulfill their three wishes in order to get free.

The Rat Story

This article is Originally written by Amna Munir on an 'incident' that took place with me, by the name of Story Untold. It was posted in her blog Enchanting Heaven.

This is a true story, all characters are real except for a little bit additions by me.

On the other corner of the city, I have a friend. I asked him to write this down himself but he totally refused saying " that's disgusting". But if you ask me,
i think " It's really cute."
Now you guys must be curious what is so special which has got two contradictory opinions.
So here I share the unforgetful experience of my friend with you in his pen.

One night I was sitting on my couch relaxing after a hectic day at university when I heard a rasping sound in my ears, ignoring it and thinking that it might be some strayed cat munching on my waste basket I switched on the TV. My favorite show was being aired so forgetting everything I was endorsed in the captivating cast and twisty story. I never know when I was lost in beauty sleep when I was woke up by something damp creeping over my foot. Suddenly opening eyes, scared, I looked around if there was some froggie or its mate but there was nothing like that.Everything went fine later that night but I couldn't get more sleep and spent the night guessing what i could be.

They look cute, but trust me they are disgusting =p

The following morning I went to my kitchenette humming , searching for something to eat I opened cabinet and moved the things to get hold of my cornflakes. To my surprise I found my snacks and other food stuff ripped into bits. It was all messy not at all like I left last morning. This was the very moment when it dawned upon my pre-occupied mind that there is something in my flat, something that's no human, something that predates human eatables and leaves it of
no use. I wanted to act and think positive that no there's nothing like that, all is well but the succeeding events forced me to - stockings having holes, kitchen litter in living room, books' pages with missing edges designed as by termites, loaf of bread scattered like bread crumbs on kitchen table, clattering in kitchenware. In addition to all this , one evening I cooked myself an omlette when i got a call. I placed the plate on the kitchen slab and went to the TV lounge to attend the call. When I was done talking I got back to take the omlette and I was astonished to find nothing like omlette, the dish was empty, not even the last scraps of denatured spiced protein. I looked about if there was some ghost or monster who can eat up such a huge omlette in matter of seconds and there I found at last -a greyish , muddy tinged mammal with little nose, shiny black eyes, tiny feet and pearl white teeth biting on my food. I stood there; surprised, revolted, angry, frustrated - amalgam of feelings. I hushed that mean creature ssshhh, hsshhh, shooo , but no , no effect on him or her, whatever ! I don't really care.Even if it was She , It looked nothing like Katy Perry, Selena or Nina Dobrev . *sigh*

This all was too much. I told myself I can't take it anymore . Afterall it's my place and I have all freedom as free citizen to live alone , me and myself , not with some unworldly creatures. So I had to take an action right away. I discussed it with my friend and surprisingly she told me that mice are cute, why don't you take three of 'em and making a trio teach them how to sing and dance just like Dave Seville did in "Alvin And The Chipmunks." It would make you popular . That was the point I came to the conclusion that I was all alone in this war - rightly said only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches .

Now I pondered of plans how to get rid of these repugnant beings - rat traps, rat killing pills or just a broom can do ? I tried out all this stuff ;when i set mouse trap there left no chesse and it was there all fixed not even moved an inch , pills stayed right there under the sofa , under the dinning table , near the cabinet but i was able to track their foot steps on them and last but not the least whenever i attempted killing 'em with broom , the one mouse that heard my foot steps heralded all others and I stood there helpless as all the preys ran away to their bills. I thought of getting a predator catty but I gave up the idea thinking that it would do no good than creating even more mess in my little , once neat and clean apartment. Now you might be thinking why didn't I google out as Google has got all the solutions, yes,
I agree with you but none of them were pragmatic.

After all these ordeals I'm inclined to sing :

How could you be so heartless..oh
How could you be so heartless
How could you be so Dr. Evil, you
bringin' out a side of me I don't know.

Einstein: Greatest Frank-ish Mind!

If you'd ask me a couple of months ago I had no interest in Einstein what so ever. I actually hated him because of his loads work in the field of science. I hated him because its the students like me who have to suffer in the end. Learning what's Thermodynamic fluctuations, What's the Speed of light ( Do you know what's your speed? I bet you don't), Memorize unheard terms such as Cosmology, Wormholes, even the Energy momentum pseudo tensor, also the 'easiest' of things such as 10 Equations of Field Motion. In short half the tensions in the world are due to Einstein.

But then this FRANK-ISH thing happened! I was forced to love Einstein and in this deep feeling of love I'm writing this masterpiece. Its a tribute to Einstein and a dedication for Muneestein! :D

Here are five facts about Einstein that will make you love him even more :)

1) Einstein was mad!! After his death in the year 1955, Einstein's brain was preserved for research purposes as he was considered the foremost genius of all times and this fact was only revealed 23 years after his death in 1978. But the research revealed some interesting stuff about Einstein. In addition to the Glial cells, which are helpful in calculations and numerical, he had some unknown germs in his brain. After further research It was revealed that these cells are helpful in making people go mad. It also revealed that Einstein had the first attack of insanity when he first joined school, the second attack when he joined college and then these attacks were a regular routine whenever he tried to experiment or thought of an equation. This disease was named as 'Einsteiaria'. These germs are still being transferred both genetically and physically to the students all over the world but no cure has yet been discovered!

Almost 60% of Einstein's Brain was Madness Germs

2)  Einstein loved new hair styles: Instead of going to hair saloons he used his laboratory for all the new hair styles. Whenever he wanted a new hair style he would just blow up a vessel or the related equipment and that was it! He had a new hair style. Same was the case with dyeing hairs, he used to try
variety of colors by just mixing different chemicals and stuff! Generally the reason is thought to be the brain cells which were present that helped his hairs grow such beautiful but It is speculated that his latest and the last hair style was  after the famous character 'Larry' from the show 'Three Stooges' .. Have a look for yourself! :D

Einstein------------------------------Larry

3) Einstein Failed in Mathematics: The world is divided into two over this question. Did Einstein Failed Mathematics? All our lives we have been advised to follow Einstein who failed in Mathematics but still became a great Scientist. When I did further research and Interviewed Einstein just before his death that's what Einstein told me " Umm Well the relation between me and mathematics has always been a tenuous one. I considered becoming a mathematician, but choose physics because I felt it could lead to more significant truths about reality and here's a secret! Don't you dare tell anyone! I hated mathematics and never understood even a single word, you see my hairs? thanks to Mathematics'. Some of Einstein lovers also say that Einstein learned differential equations and Integration at the age of 15 here's what Einstein had to say " LMAO!! I had the solution manual to the course books I was studying, and yeah Maths was easy whenever the manual was with me! ' A fact also remains that he frequently enlisted the aid of other mathematicians, including his first wife, to check his work for errors, and they were frequently found.

Just an hour after his masterpiece
Einstein's Masterpiece

4) Why did Einstein stick His Tongue out?  There are many theories about this but I can safely tell you people that the real answer to this question is that He never brushed his teeth. Although the story goes like this..  On Einstein's 72nd birthday on March 14, 1951, His friend Arthur Sasse, who was also a photographer was trying to persuade him to smile for the camera, but having smiled for photographers many times that day, Einstein stuck out his tongue instead. For no reason at all this photograph became one of the most popular ever taken of Einstein, often used in merchandise depicting him in a 'lighthearted' sense. After extensive research and meeting his wife and family members I was able to find out the exact reason. His wife was also present when this 'Incident' took place. ' Einstein was a lazy man. He only brushed his teeth twice a month or at most only on weekends. I still remember that on his birthday when he was smiling, all the photographers were disgusted to see his dirty teeth and a few of them even pictured his dirty teeth.' So after all this humiliation he decided to stick out his tongue instead of showing his teeth.

After the Humiliation

Einstein's Teeth

5) Einstein was a thief: Einstein was fond of stealing. His hobbies include, Stealing, plagiarizing, copying, teasing, taunting, sticking his tongue out. In his autobiography, 'Einstein: The bald with Sticky Tongue Out' he revealed that he had lots of chances to practice his hobbies, especially stealing and plagiarizing. Most of the people know that Einstein had most of his Ideas while sleeping (Let me tell you, the Ideas I have while dreaming are too Wicked to practice in real life, so how could Einstein could?! :D ) Is that Possible? For the most Intelligent person of the 20th Century to have all his Ideas, theories, laws while sleeping and dreaming? Pffffttt!
  • His photon theory of light was stolen from James Maxwell who wrote an article to this effect for the 1878 edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica.
  • The explanation of Brownian motion in liquids; This movement had first been observed by the Scottish botanist Robert Brown in 1827.
  • The special theory of relativity was stolen from Henri Poincaré, who was the foremost expert on relativity in the late 19th century and the first person to formally present the theory of relativity.

Here is a photographic proof of how Einstein fooled the world.
