On a High! Which side? No Idea.

Its the usual feeling for me, I write when I'm too happy or when  I'm too stressed up. What's the condition right now, lets keep it a secret.

I was surprised to see that my google search results for "Raafay Awan" have spread over 20 pages and the blog views are now over 51000, thanks Allah for that :)

The past few days have been really tough for me not only because of the studies and exams but I don't know why I felt mentally stressed. I wasn't able to do anything, I couldn't even study properly, I couldn't even eat properly, I couldn't even talk sense sometimes :P I for the first time in life deactivated facebook as its the place I interact with people in the most proper way, not using the cellphone was the other thing that helped. The only regret that I couldn't do my exams properly and I had the highest internal in all the subjects.

I'm done with my exams and Hamza will get free today so we'll be going back home at night. This time for sure I'm gonna read a few books, watch lots TV (I have totally forgotten what does a TV look like actually), the cricket series between Pakistan and England is about to start soon so that's another excitement. Manal is in Bahawalpur so we might visit her, bring her home and complete our family for the weekend. None better feeling when we four sit together and mama papa join in for a conversation, Hope Allah keeps us happy, healthy and safe forever, Ameen.

So there is one of my roommate, who actually is in the first semester and its the same guy who stayed with us last year and failed. As he still thinks he will fail the exams so he found out an easy way out, paying money and gifting cellphones to subject teachers so that they pass him. His father is also trying his best to find a 'Sifarish' for him. And what am I doing?! I'm the one who tells people to be good and do this and that and bla bla what am I doing? Nothing!! just sitting in my room, writing about it! I'm sure though his tactics won't work and he will still fail but If he doesn't and passes due to wrong means I'm gonna give him a hard time, I've already photographed all the internals that were displayed so if a subject teacher 'helps' him I will make sure he gets the deserved treatment! (I won't reveal my name for sure).

I was able to contact Arifa Karim's father after some struggle and he is really positive that his daughter will survive. He says that she is in a critical condition still where chances of survival are minimal but the extraordinary daughter she is, she will pass through it! (InshaAllah) Microsoft has announced a medical team will consult the Pakistani doctors over her case and will help where required as she cannot be shifted to any other hospital and is on artificial breathing, hopes will lighten up when she starts breathing on her own. I will repeat once again, my new year won't start unless this girl in the hospital doesn't recover. I trust Allah will show HIS miracle, that girl deserves a miracle!

liked this so I'm sharing...

Watch your thoughts; they become words.

Watch your words; they become actions.

Watch your actions; they become habits.

Watch your habits; they become character.

Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

Imran Khan and Eid !

So a break from writing turned out to be a good thing! Every word I was writing was becoming more obvious, everything I wanted to write was the same I'd said previously. I feel like writing now, I feel like writing alot.

Today was my last exam and thanks to Allah all of them went fine., although I know I could have done better in the exams but the small errors and laziness let me down this time. Instrumentation and Measurements was a cake but I didn't read the paper carefully and end up solving the values wrong of a numerical, that might cost me five marks. Engineering materials was the same thing, my friend keep on requesting me to read the formula of a question which I had written down in my notes but I was thinking that it'll be the same questions in the exams which my teacher has mentioned. The Computer Programing was easy but I'm unable to understand the loops and how to make triangles out of it. Keeping in mind that these are perhaps my most important exams I'm satisfied.

Eid is approaching and this time I'm in no mood to celebrate it. What's the point of celebrating Eid when you don't have any of your cousins and relatives in the city. Most of the time we go to our village but that's not the case this time around! But then my Eid starts the day I go back home. This time I'm going to buy the Vampire Diaries series and read as much as I can. I could not finish the Eleven Minute as my copy had a few pages missing,I hope I get those missing pages.

I read many news papers and I keep myself always upto date with the political situation of the country I've never been too much into politics myself. 31st October was the day when I had my first exam and i was really tense, I just opened the live streaming of Express News, there was the a rally and 'Jalsa' organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaaf, which is led by the famous and greatest Cricketer, Imran Khan. Technically speaking I'm a member of PTI and I know that most of the youth support Imran Khan, but the  Lahore rally was a breakthrough for sure. I have never in my life seen such enthusiasm in the youth or the people, I myself, following it on the TV felt so proud of everything as If It was something related to me, all the social networks and the people there were excited, people from all over the world were following it and a crowd of 500000 was present in which there were mostly youngsters and families at Minar-E-Pakistan and Imran Khan did not disappoint us, and gave a memorable speech. Such a high level success was astonishing for everyone but I'm pretty hopeful its the beginning of a change, a new start from where the next generation and youth of Pakistan will take over InshaAllah :)

When I talk about myself I'm happy with my progress, I haven't been able to achieve what I wanted to but still I have not let things get out of hand! still a long way to go..I have not been able to buy a website uptill now due to visa card issues hope it gets solved as soon as possible.

Eid Mubarak to Everyone! May Allah bless you.. :)

So thats how Life ends?!

OKAY! So too much happiness makes raafay vulnerable, or say happiness and raafay don't get along that well. You feel as everything is perfect, feeling that the bad things are turning good, the fortune turning on its way to good fortune and then this blow happenes and takes away everything. I don't know what more to write as I don't have any words on how I feel right now. Just that I write when I'm too happy or I'm at worst. Its the second case right now. What do I do?! Just wait and hope, hopelessly. I deserve better.

Now lets try to act normal.
Today was the first day of the new semester and thanks Allah I was able to register all the couses that I needed too, hopefully it goes well from here on. My result of the previous semester was pretty good thanks Allah and I got 3.7 SGPA! :)

Pakistan were able to beat Zimbabwe quite easily in the end, although the hosts fought really well and were able to dominate the game for the first couple of days. Playing three new fast bowlers in one test match was too much of a risk! Muhammad Hafeez proved himself he sure is the next contender for captaincy once Misbah steps down and I'm sure he will be the vice captain in the next series against Srilanka. I like the attitude of Aizaz Cheema and he should be utilized in the best possible way.

Eid was the best time I had in years, all family getting together in our village, I started playing cricket after such a long time and InshaAllah this will not stop now, Family dinner everything. I wanted to write long and long details but I don't feel like right now.

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...
If you smileWith your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile if you'll just...
Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you'll just...
Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...

I'm totally, completely, madly and fully in love with Vampire Diaries !! here is some thing worth watching and wasting your time for. All the characters just suit perect! ♥

The only funny thing I can recall was the call I got from China a couple of days back and the lady was talking in chinese and it was flying over and above my head! :D

I always wanted to write about this... The past three months were supposed to be my dullest time but thanks to some people and FN that I had the better of times. I have learnt alot from everyone, made new friends and true ones and ohh yeah implemented my 25 ways successfully! :D

Short lived Happiness.

Short of time so a short post here. My exams just finished today and I'm really looking forward to go back home... Its nice to have some time off and relax and lie down reading books, watching movies, listening to the music, requesting mama whatever u want to eat, do stupid things with everyone, play cricket, read early morning newspaper in the lawn, buying new books, making plans for hoteling and outing, and yes talk with the maid in english =D

I was fearing that the exams will not go as well as I expect them to go, but I guess thanks Allah I have done well in all the exams but lets see what the examiners decide. This time when i will come back, things will be lot different from what they are now, and thats what makes me nervous.

Ramadan is going pretty fine and I'll have to say that my health has gotten worse due to the food quality here. The weather here has been very good and I've enjoyed the everyday rain.

India is giving me the only pure happiness, they are losing so perfectly and sweetly that I can't gelp loving them. Remember Pakistan's tour of England last year?! We had no Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, M. Yousuf and many other top players still we managed to win alteast one test match, score 300+ runs twice or thrice, bowled England out cheaply several times and India, the previous number one have not been close to achieving anything close to this.

btw, Waqar Younis will resign soon.

Just Packing and not feeling well!! :) hope I have a nice journey and a nice time at home!! :)
