Imran Khan and Eid !

So a break from writing turned out to be a good thing! Every word I was writing was becoming more obvious, everything I wanted to write was the same I'd said previously. I feel like writing now, I feel like writing alot.

Today was my last exam and thanks to Allah all of them went fine., although I know I could have done better in the exams but the small errors and laziness let me down this time. Instrumentation and Measurements was a cake but I didn't read the paper carefully and end up solving the values wrong of a numerical, that might cost me five marks. Engineering materials was the same thing, my friend keep on requesting me to read the formula of a question which I had written down in my notes but I was thinking that it'll be the same questions in the exams which my teacher has mentioned. The Computer Programing was easy but I'm unable to understand the loops and how to make triangles out of it. Keeping in mind that these are perhaps my most important exams I'm satisfied.

Eid is approaching and this time I'm in no mood to celebrate it. What's the point of celebrating Eid when you don't have any of your cousins and relatives in the city. Most of the time we go to our village but that's not the case this time around! But then my Eid starts the day I go back home. This time I'm going to buy the Vampire Diaries series and read as much as I can. I could not finish the Eleven Minute as my copy had a few pages missing,I hope I get those missing pages.

I read many news papers and I keep myself always upto date with the political situation of the country I've never been too much into politics myself. 31st October was the day when I had my first exam and i was really tense, I just opened the live streaming of Express News, there was the a rally and 'Jalsa' organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaaf, which is led by the famous and greatest Cricketer, Imran Khan. Technically speaking I'm a member of PTI and I know that most of the youth support Imran Khan, but the  Lahore rally was a breakthrough for sure. I have never in my life seen such enthusiasm in the youth or the people, I myself, following it on the TV felt so proud of everything as If It was something related to me, all the social networks and the people there were excited, people from all over the world were following it and a crowd of 500000 was present in which there were mostly youngsters and families at Minar-E-Pakistan and Imran Khan did not disappoint us, and gave a memorable speech. Such a high level success was astonishing for everyone but I'm pretty hopeful its the beginning of a change, a new start from where the next generation and youth of Pakistan will take over InshaAllah :)

When I talk about myself I'm happy with my progress, I haven't been able to achieve what I wanted to but still I have not let things get out of hand! still a long way to go..I have not been able to buy a website uptill now due to visa card issues hope it gets solved as soon as possible.

Eid Mubarak to Everyone! May Allah bless you.. :)

Rehab Time and lets Buy a Website! :D

Hm so I'm back Islamabad and already attended two lectures and appeared in two quizzes and submitted one assignment and told to present a topic tomorrow, that's some new start :D

It was a pleasant time back home and I actually feel pretty relax now. We reached Multan early Thursday morning and the weather was awesome. I had my favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner on the first day and that kick started me. Playing cricket felt like normality and I was in good rhythm thanks to the hard work I have been putting in.. The very next day I had my four angels visiting me and that made my stay as enjoyable as possible. We had to visit our village as my uncle is going for hajj this month. Well in short I have the same feeling that I always have..I'm feeling myself back.

My rehabilitation period starts today and that's exciting me much. I just hope it pans out as planned. I want to be the raafay I was used to be but that's easier said than done!! I will be needing prayers.. :)
Two months, thats all its going to take..

I also plan to buy a website within this month although I must admit I have no clue what and how to deal with everything. I don't want to write professionally but the pressure is too much.. One thing that I want to clear is that writing is not my passion. Its just that whenever I'm happy or sad I want to keep a note and share it with everyone..writing diary is difficult so blogging helps me here, the other articles that I write are just because when I'm interested in something I want to keep a note. My articles are taken by my permission for different magazines and websites and I don't write for them myself!! :) by the way suggest me a good name for my website =P

Some times when you get hurt and and you know the reason why you are hurt that helps! It helps you to console yourself, set things right, forget and forgive..but what do you do when you do everything with a good intention and reason but someone blames you for the total opposite?! or you don't even know the reason?! it hurts more..it hurts when the people, your dear ones hurt you and you find no way out....but then, that's how life is.

Cricket season is coming back and I'm really excited about it! Pakistan Vs Srilanka, Pakistan Vs Bangladesh, Pakistan Vs England, Pakistan Vs India !! thats mouth watering :D

Short lived Happiness.

Short of time so a short post here. My exams just finished today and I'm really looking forward to go back home... Its nice to have some time off and relax and lie down reading books, watching movies, listening to the music, requesting mama whatever u want to eat, do stupid things with everyone, play cricket, read early morning newspaper in the lawn, buying new books, making plans for hoteling and outing, and yes talk with the maid in english =D

I was fearing that the exams will not go as well as I expect them to go, but I guess thanks Allah I have done well in all the exams but lets see what the examiners decide. This time when i will come back, things will be lot different from what they are now, and thats what makes me nervous.

Ramadan is going pretty fine and I'll have to say that my health has gotten worse due to the food quality here. The weather here has been very good and I've enjoyed the everyday rain.

India is giving me the only pure happiness, they are losing so perfectly and sweetly that I can't gelp loving them. Remember Pakistan's tour of England last year?! We had no Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, M. Yousuf and many other top players still we managed to win alteast one test match, score 300+ runs twice or thrice, bowled England out cheaply several times and India, the previous number one have not been close to achieving anything close to this.

btw, Waqar Younis will resign soon.

Just Packing and not feeling well!! :) hope I have a nice journey and a nice time at home!! :)

Time at Home!

Whenever I come back to Multan there is always a sense of calmness about this city. Life here is so simple and smooth that I forget all my tensions.

Saturday was my first day here and It passed mostly spending time with family. Tamur had a holiday and we played games most of the day. The lunch today was Chicken Karahi and it was delicious. I also had 'Karri Pakora' and 'Gajar ka halwa'.

Sunday is supposed to be funday and thats what it exactly turned out to be. We three brothers played hard ball Cricket and at one stage I played out 336 balls or 56 overs without losing a wicket. The sand storm tried to interrup our session but we kept on playing. Earlier in the morning we had our favorite breakfast 'Bhatti k Chanay'. We went out with Papa to Uncle Khan's home, also went to order a book rack for my room.

Monday was a quiet day as I was alone at home and nothing much to do. Playing cricket for that long was taking its toll and I felt tired all through the day. At night we went out to have dinner and there was no guessing where we went.

Early morning on Tuesday hamza and I went out to take magazines, dvd's and also to take some stuff that Papa had asked. But the most tough phase was when we had to submit the license form at the Police office. We have half watched Rango and it really is a nice movie!

A Trip back Home! =)

Post 1:

Its that time again and I'm going back home. Right now as always I'm passing the mountains with only a slight difference that the sun is out this time. The weather is neither hot nor that cold so the atmosphere inside the bus is pretty fine.

I will be staying in multan for almost 9 days. This by the way will also be my first travel blog for Travel Pod! :)

The bus scheduled to arrive at 3pm but as is usually the case in Pakistan, we were late. I had already booked the tickets on wednesday as hassaaan, hamza and Ameer were also coming with me. We reached the terminal on time and got the tickets half hour before the actual time. Its 4:18 pm right now and I'm still passing through the mountains! =)

Post 2:

The mountains have passed and the vast fields have started. All around the area there is greenry. This pattern will now follow us all the way to multan. We made a stop at Siyal Chawk for about 15 minutes and had KFC packed for us which I just finished eating. Its almost evening time now and the night has started to fall, but still theres a long way to travel, its 18:25 h right now.

Phase 3:

We have just started the last phase of our journey, although there is still a long way to go. Jhang has always been one of my favorite places because I like the food at the terminal. This time I could not eat anything because of the heavy KFC meal which I am regretting right now. most probably I will pass these hours sleeping as I have no IPod to listen any type of music. Its almost 9pm.

Post 4:

I have reached home and its was about 11:30 pm. Papa and Tamur were already there to receive us. We reached home and had a delicious dinner. Its almost 1am. one thing that I really missed all the way was that there was no one to remind me recite Ayat-al-kursi!

Relieved !

It has been a really tough time as I have mentioned many times now, but the point is that this bad phase is not showing any signs of ending at all. Hopefully we will leave the flat by tomorrow and start anew. We almost have shifted all the luggage. But the good thing is that may be and hopefully I'm going home tomorrow if everything goes well. Its has been a long time since I last visited home and as usual visiting home makes me really excited. I had bought a new IPod so that I can listen to music on the long way back home but my bad that It did not work and has a space of 0 bytes. I tried a lot to sort the problem out but the last chance is to claim the warranty of the IPod.

Exams of Taimoor have finished and I'm really planing to hear his interesting comments on most of the things. There will be no Cricket to watch so this time I will read as many novels as possible. More Importantly I wont be having to skip my classes for going home because its Sports week here and there will be no lectures taking place.

The AU time is going good and there has not been that much tension this time because of the nature of the subjects, although I did not do that good in the exams but I'm hopeful that I will get a good result InshaAllah. We also have our final year project coming up and will have to give some time to it. There are also many term projects remaining upon which I have not work at all.

I'll try to keep in touch and post more often, but of course there will be no big posts coming as all my research material is here in Islamabad. There are many interesting topics remaining on which I want to write and I will try my best to complete them as soon as possible.

My That life is not going well at all and I'm really hurt by what has happened recently, but then its usual and that never understands the problem. The behavior and the seriousness not at all there and once again I can just hope!!

Multan Time

Standing on the balcony of my flat, I see the mountains everyday. Most of the times i wonder that when will that day come again and i'l be going through these mountains on my way back home. That day is today and right now I'm passing through these mountains. The weather is beautiful, least to say and Its raining for more than two hours now.
It wasn't a bad time that I usually pass in Islamabad, actually this time I was not that tense or burdened that I usually get. But going home is still the biggest attraction for me. Moreover its World Cup time and the first fruit that i'l get is the all important match between Pakistan and Srilanka. Ofcourse I pray that Pakistan wins the match and God willing they most certainly will.
Tamur and Manal will have their exams approaching so it was not the best of plan to go home but we didn't have a choice as we had to cancel everythin at the last moment.
Praying that we have a nice time at home and that Pakistan performs well in the World Cup..bubye till the next post.

Sleepy Day..

Woke up early today as well, offered prayer, read newspaper and then I slept again. Lol :D
After I woke up again hamza, me n tamur watched the movie 10000 B.C which was simply awesome. Mama joined inbetween and we all completed the movie. Later everyone went buzy with their work but I kept on watching movies n saw Ice age 1 n 2 which were nice. Later I played some cricket n was so tired. While reading the novel in the evening I fell asleep and woke up at night to have dinner and then again slept :D

A Happy Day.

It was indeed a happy day. Pakistan won its first series after a gap of FOUR years and it was their first series win overseas after 7 years. Gone are the golden days when winning a series was just a formality. It was a well earned win though, with an inexperienced team, after lots of controversies, new captain, alien conditions, it was a hard work. At one stage it looked as if Pakistan will lose, at the end Pakistan could have easily won but Misbah, as he said at the post match conference, that winning the series was more important than the match. Its a big boost for Pakistan, lets see the ODI's..
My day started with the match. Later we watched a movie and went to Shangrilla Bar'be-cue for dinner.

Earth Quake..

Today I was able to offer prayer. But the light didnt permit me to watch the match so I switched the TV on with UPS. It was a tough day for Pakistan in the field who drop many chances and fielded poorly but it was Umar Gull's day who wrapped up the New zealand innings with late reverse swing, swinging the match slightly in Pakistan's favour. My day was fine, after watching the match Tamur and me played cricket for sometime. In the evening Hamza, tamur and me went to News Corner and I bought a few novels. At night I watched Pink Panther 2 and it was really funny. There was an earth quake later at night and it was horrifying.

Movie Day.

I woke up quiet early today but late enough that I couldn't offer prayer. I watched the match for an hour or so and sadly Younis Khan who was playing really well was given out caught at short leg by a strange decision from the umpire. At the end of the day it was even stevens.
Papa mama went to hospital, sis to college so me, hamza n tamur completed open season 2 n watched the 3rd part as well. The character elliot which was a dear was the best part of the movie and it was fun. Rest of the day was passed just resting and making plans. We again watched a movie in the evening. Later at night when papa was back we just sat near the heater and talked about different subjects. I slept early at around 10:20pm.

Cricket time.

The second day of the test match was mostly Pakistan's day and they batted really well except for the last ball at which Taufeeq Umar got out. Australia won the 1st ODI in thrilling fashion.
My day went really good mostly. Woke up early and watched the Cricket match and had 'Aalu k parathay' for breakfast. Then sat in the sun and enjoyed sunlight reading novel. Later we went to meet our cousins and enjoyed alot with my 'four angels'. Papa had lost his cellphone during Hajj so we searched and bought a new one for him and then came back home. Hamza, Me and Tamur played cricket in the evening with me scoring my first run in the 3rd match. Was totally out of touch but managed to score a 50 later :D I bowled really well especially the visious turning delivery at which hamza was clean bowled. Later we watched movies and then after dinner I went to sleep.

The Series of Unfortunate events Continue.. :D

The bus was half empty on my way to Multan. But still I cudnt sleep because the weather was so beautiful and while crossing the mountains it was raining. Crossing that it was all fog so we reached the terminal as late as 00:30 in the morning. Papa and Tamur had to wait for 2 hours at the terminal. But it was nice to see papa coming to take us once again (No compensation with the Rickshaw drivers this time) :)
We reached home, had dinner. The match had to start at 3am in the morning so I had initially all the plans to stay awake as it was already 2 in the morning but thanks to load shedding I was forced to sleep. Although I woke up at 5am in the morning but sadly in was a lunch break during the match and I had to go back ko sleep again. New Zealand were 98/4 when I switched on the TV in the morning but load shedding again destroyed all the plans. Pakistan had a good day overall but New Zealand are fighting their way back I think and will score in the excess of 300.. Australia won the 2nd T20 after almost throwing it away. And India won a nail biter against South Africa.
My day was drowsy, I couldn't sleep well at night and because of that had headache all day. Got a hair cut as well.. Slept in the evening again and went hoteling at night with family and enjoyed alot. Watched 'Open season 1' (1st of my 50 downloads) and it was fun! Im feeling relax after such a long time ( btw, had a kind of fight with someone special) ppl change don they?!

How did the exams go..

Well lets start with the first paper. The subject was such that no one was able to understand anything about it all these four months. The last day of classes was on tuesday and the first paper was on thursday so there wasn't much time to prepare. Although i tried my best and revised and solved again and again yet still I wasn't able to do well. The second paper was always going to be unexpected as the past experiences tell and thats what exactly happened. The paper was a half disaster, but the Sir is good enough to grade us. The result of this subject was displayed just after 5 days of paper, now thats what u call true speed.
The third paper was well a cheat. The subject teacher did not feed us that advance as was the paper. It was high and wide above everyone and I bet if Sir was himself given such a paper he would'nt have been able to solve it. My fourth paper was, well supposed to be a cake walk but my asusual blunder might ruin it. But overall it went fine.
The fifth paper was a real butter. It was expected, we had the previous year paper and thats what was going to come, and with a few changes thats what it came. Even our supervisor said that 'Now start solving it as I know u people have learn it by heart, because thats what we did. '
My next and the worst part was my last paper. It was easily the most under studied subject and after all this burden of going through exams my limit to study was finished. The second last paper was in the evening and this was early morning next day. So there was no time to prepare. The course was too much. But what I think I have done fine with this, atleast hopefully I might not fail. HOPEFULLY!!!

Something was VERY wrong!

Breaking News: Atlast I'm done with my final exams..
Right now I'm sitting in the bus going back home to Multan. The papers did not start well and ended on a sedate note. I wasn't thinking that I would have such a difficult time during the finals because my preparation was ok if not good. At the same time I wasn't feeling the same space I have during the exams. It was cold no doubt and it was difficult to study, I was sick and that could be a reason, there were seven papers to give that could be an excuse, but the real problem I think was a supernatural one. When ever I tried writing I could not. When ever I tried to memorize something I could not. Whenever I tried concentrating something distracted me. And strangely enough mostly when I wrote the pen stopped writing. I took 4 ball pens to the examination hall yet everyday I had to buy new ones as they stopped writing. Well but still the exams went Ok! Not what I had anticipated but still seeing the circumstances better than what it could have been..
